Fresh from being quoted in The Times (October 2nd and 9th), Professor Dominic Regan returns to the Knowledge Hub to take stock of the Mazur decision.
Joining him is Dr Mark Friston of Hailsham Chambers, whose 2,000-page work on the law of costs has been cited with approval at the highest judicial levels in the UK and internationally.
Together, they’ll explore the wider implications of Mr Justice Sheldon’s ruling — including whether the decision stands up to scrutiny, where an appeal might be heard, how to manage uncertainty in the meantime, the risk of claims being dismissed, and its relevance to fixed costs cases.
