Simon is an experienced investment specialist with over 25 years of experience. He started his career in private client stock broking and later moved into institutional investment management. He is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Ascencia Investment Management. Simon leads the monthly Investment Management Committee meeting and has been recognized for his consistent risk-adjusted investment performance by Investment Week, Citywire, and Defaqto.
Paul joined Frenkel Topping in February 2023 and has over 30 years’ experience in Account Management across multiple industries. Whilst he supports and develops law firms within Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, Paul has a particular focus on Court of Protection to help develop long lasting relationships with deputies and their clients and ensure Frenkel Topping is meeting the needs of Court of Protection teams.
Anthony is a multi-asset investment manager. His career began at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management before moving to Pershing (part of the BNY Mellon Group) as part of the International Settlements team, and then to WH Ireland, in Manchester. Anthony then joined Ascencia Investment Management in 2016. He holds the CFA UK IMC, Certificate in ESG investment and Investment Management Diploma.
Mark joined Frenkel Topping in 2010 and has since risen through the ranks to his current position as Chief Operations Officer for Frenkel Topping Group and Managing Director for both Frenkel Topping Limited and Obiter Wealth Management. Mark is considered a leading mind in the area of periodical payments/structured settlements and has lectured nationwide on the discount rate, receiving industry-wide recognition for his expertise.
Alison joined Frenkel Topping in 2006 as a senior consultant and later transitioned into focusing on expert witness work and training. As head of training, she contributes to business development by delivering presentations, supporting consultants, and organising events. Alison holds multiple qualifications in financial planning and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Rehabilitation and Social Welfare.
After completing a placement year in 2015 for his BA in Business and Financial Management, Tom joined Frenkel Topping in August 2017. He settled in the Business Development department and is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing lasting relationships, providing consultant training, and supporting clients navigating personal or medical negligence claims.
Emma joined Frenkel Topping in 2021 after a successful 10-year career in legal marketing and business development. Experienced in costs recovery services, she identified and managed opportunities in personal injury, clinical negligence, and court of protection. Emma was impressed with Frenkel Topping's charitable foundation and enjoys working with a knowledgeable and empathetic team that supports lawyers and their clients throughout litigation.
Paul joined Frenkel Topping in 2014 and now serves as Client Director on the client review team. He ensures clients' investments remain suitable, allowing them to focus on living their best lives. Paul also supports other review team consultants and values the caring family ethos of the company.
