Michelle Caton-Richards

Michelle Caton-Richards is a Registered Nurse and Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience, primarily in accident and emergency and urgent care settings. She is a qualified Emergency Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with a Master’s in Advanced Healthcare Practice. Michelle has worked across a wide range of clinical environments and is currently Deputy Lead for Quality Assurance and Training (Liability) at Somek and Associates. Alongside her expert witness work, she continues to practise clinically as a locum ANP, with a strong passion for teaching, training, and maintaining excellence in urgent care.

Vikkiann Seeney

Vikkiann Seeney is a Registered Nurse and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with a wealth of experience across primary care, community services, and sexual health. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2006, she has held a range of clinical and leadership roles, including Community Matron and Advanced Nurse Practitioner in general practice. Vikkiann is highly skilled in telephone triage, minor illness management, contraceptive care (including implant and coil fitting), and mental health support. She holds an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and currently works as an ACP and nurse manager at Whitehall Medical Practice. She is also qualified in aesthetics, offering a range of treatments including minor surgery and advanced injectable therapies. Vikkiann has experience in strategic service development, has managed the National Chlamydia Screening Programme, and accepts medico-legal instructions as an expert witness.

Nick Smith

With almost three decades at all levels from Agency Carer to Operations Director of a National Homecare Brand Nick has knowledge and experience of all aspects of the Social Care industry, recently arrived at Nable in this presentation he will explain the role of the Registered Manager in caser Management and why that role matters to everyone involved in the process.

Sam Buckley

Sam joined Frenkel Topping as a graduate in July 2017 and became manager of the expert witness team in 2022. He has since transitioned into his current role as a financial adviser.

As an expert witness manager, he oversaw the daily operations of the team and relevant consultants, ensuring the use of up-to-date data and processes to maintain industry-leading standards.

He holds an A level in accounting, AAT Level 3, and a degree in forensic accounting.

Sam was drawn to Frenkel Topping by its expertise and commitment to helping clients. From his first interview, he felt welcomed and supported, a feeling that has continued throughout his career.

Now, as a financial adviser, he finds it especially rewarding to see the real impact of his work. Meeting clients through the CRT has reinforced how important this role is in improving lives.

Victoria Mahon

Victoria is named in the Citywealth Top 100 Private Client Lawyers list 2021, was awarded Silver in Citywealth’s 2020 Lawyer of the Year (Senior/Managing Associate) and was named as a “Top 35 Under 35” private client adviser by eprivateclient magazine for three years. Victoria is a contributing author to Lexis Nexis’ practice notes on Lasting Powers of Attorney and issues relating to vulnerable clients, and writes widely in the trade and national press.

Ann Stanyer

Partner at Wedlake Bell. Ann acts as attorney, deputy, and trustee for clients. Frequent contributor on financial abuse and powers of attorney issues including to professional publications and BBC radio and ITV programmes. Author of Financial abuse of older clients published by Bloomsbury Professional (2^nd Edition 2020) and Powers of Attorney for Property and Finance: A user’s guide published by Bath Publishing (2023). Ann also provides the quarterly updates for the chapter on financial abuse for the Lexis Nexis Finance and Law for the older client. Member of STEP and ALL.

Mark Farrell

Mark joined PIC in January 2024 having previously held senior management positions in two law firms plus RSA and Aon. He has a track record in developing long-term trusted relationships and strives to provide solutions which add value and help clients achieve their financial goals. Having worked on both sides of litigation he is in a good position to understand the challenges faced by law firms in the clinical negligence/personal injury arena. He has extensive experience in creating and monitoring project plans which enhance profit.

Dominic Woodhouse

Dominic has attended costs hearings across the length and breadth of the country, and since 2013 increasingly appearing at the High Court in London as demand for specialist attendance at Costs Case Management Conferences has grown.

Dominic has a broad perspective on costs issues having represented a number of Claimant and Defendant practices over the years, and with a keen eye for detail, is a well-regarded educator in the ever-evolving costs industry, often engaged for training by law and costs firms alike.

Christopher Wilkinson

Christopher started at Frenkel Topping in 2021 as a graduate, progressing to a consultant role in 2023 after earning his Financial Services Diploma. He collaborates closely with Client Directors, engaging with various parties in the settlement process to deliver comprehensive Expert Witness and Financial Advice Reports. With a background as a Business Development Executive at Pimberly and a 1st Class Economics degree from the University of Manchester, he is driven by the chance to offer crucial financial advice to those in need.
